As various Anti christian countries push to end the gospel of Christ in their countries and among their people, we have seen a rise in the number of Christians in those hot zones. China for instance have decide to destroy churches or change their location to civic and recreation centers. The Chinese Government went further to edit the bible removing God and Jesus and ascribing the space to the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party Ji Xinping. Although this has been going on in China for a very long time, the Christians in the there have refused to bulge to the pressure as they have consistently found ways to gather underground, in bunkers, at the water bank and brethren houses, damning the risk of getting caught and prosecuted. In several occasions, police has raided worship centers tipped off by a whistle blower and arrested many believers who were conducting secret worship services to God.

All these are no longer news as most of us have become so used to it that when we come across the news we just consider it to be a regular thing. We no longer support those experiencing persecution in the world today. We do not see what is affecting them as affecting the body of Christ. We failed to realize that it could have been us on the fire and persecution is even yet to spread.

Despite the attacks on their gospel, it is good to tell you that the body of Christ is growing, especially in countries like China, Syria, pakistan and others .

We need to support the Christians across the globe, seeing them as the body of Christ where when something happens to one, it happens to all. Also let’s hold unto our believe, persecution is bound to come. Jesus stated it in the book of Matthew 24, that perilous times shall come, not to Asia, middle east or India, but to believers for the sake of the gospel. Let’s not give up our faith, while we support our brother and sisters who are suffering under the weight of persecution. Lets bear in mind that preparation in a time like this is not an option.
