Christian Association of Nigeria commends security agencies

Reverend Joseph Hayab, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for the 19 Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory, has praised Nigerian security agencies for their ongoing efforts in tackling banditry, insurgency, and other forms of criminal activity across the country.

He gave the commendation during a strategic meeting with the Northern Christian Youth Professionals (NCYP) held in Kaduna. Reverend Hayab emphasized the importance of public support for the government’s fight against insecurity, noting that national development can only flourish in a secure and stable environment.

Speaking at the event, Pastor Yusuf Galama, the NCYP Coordinator for Kaduna State, urged the Federal Government to swiftly implement the newly approved National Forest Guard initiative introduced by President Bola Tinubu. He highlighted that the initiative would not only boost national security but also offer productive opportunities for restless youths.

The meeting aimed to develop practical solutions to the pressing security and socio-economic issues affecting the Northern region and the country as a whole.
