Christian singer CeCe Winans wins two Grammys
CeCe Winans, renowned for her powerful gospel music, secured two Grammy Awards at this year’s ceremony, further cementing her legacy in Christian music. The celebrated singer, best known for her soul-stirring hit Goodness of God, won the Grammy for Best Gospel Album with her latest release, More Than This. Additionally, she took home the award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for her collaboration on That’s My King alongside Taylor Agan, Kellie Gamble, Lloyd Nicks, and Jess Russ.
Following her double victory, Winans released a heartfelt video late Sunday night, expressing gratitude to Jesus and her family. She described the honor as both a privilege and a responsibility, emphasizing her joy in being part of God’s family and using her music to advance His kingdom.
Meanwhile, singer DOE won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for her deeply personal and inspiring record Heart Of A Human. In the Best Roots Gospel Album category, Cory Henry claimed the award for his album Church, a record that blends gospel traditions with soulful instrumentation.
The night also saw an exciting win for gospel legends Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Erica Campbell, and Israel Houghton, who were honored with the Grammy for Best Gospel Performance/Song for their uplifting collaboration, One Hallelujah.
