Deacon Famous Urges Ebuka Songs to Apologize and Re-align

In a recent video, Deacon Famous addressed the ongoing tension between gospel minister Ebuka Songs and Pastor Peller, offering counsel to both sides.

To Pastor Kesiena: He urged restraint in using the pulpit to publicly address or criticize individuals outside one’s congregation. Such actions may be misunderstood and are inconsistent with the spirit of Christ.

To Ebuka Songs: Deacon Famous acknowledged that accepting correction is difficult, but emphasized that humility, enabled by the Holy Spirit, helps us recognize faults, apologize, and grow. He warned against pride—often driven by anger—which resists correction and leads to destruction, as the Bible states.

He reminded Ebuka that criticism and persecution are part of ministry, citing figures like Pastor Chris and TB Joshua, who were often misunderstood yet remained focused on their divine calling. He stressed that pastors hold sacred offices that believers, not necessarily unbelievers, must honor.

Referencing the backlash Ebuka faced after receiving a car gift, he noted that remaining silent would have been wiser than reacting emotionally, which may have played into a trap. Not all correction is meant to harm—some people, even critics, offer it out of love. True supporters will correct you; flatterers may not have your best interests at heart.

He encouraged Ebuka to submit to spiritual leadership, avoid letting minor issues damage his testimony, and stay aligned with God’s will. Our accountability is to God, not followers. If you fall, they move on—but God’s purpose remains. Apologize, make peace, and remain focused on your divine assignment.
