Harvesters Church to Pay ₦50,000 Monthly Support to Unemployed Workers for Three Months

The Senior Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Centre, Bolaji Idowu, has announced a welfare initiative to support unemployed church members who are actively serving in the ministry.

Speaking during a Sunday service, Pastor Idowu revealed that affected members will receive a monthly stipend of ₦50,000 for a period of three months. He explained that the support is designed to help them remain stable while they seek new employment opportunities.

According to him, the initiative applies to leaders and volunteers serving in various capacities within the church who have lost their jobs and are currently in transition.

“All those who serve in church and are in between jobs—those who had jobs but lost them—will receive ₦50,000 every month for the next three months to help them until they secure another job,” he said.

Pastor Idowu emphasized that the church has a responsibility to care for its members, especially during challenging times, noting that mutual support is a core value of the Christian faith.

Eligible members have been encouraged to register with the church administration. He added that the process would not involve rigorous interviews, as their commitment and integrity have already been proven through their service.

The announcement was met with loud applause and appreciation from members of the congregation.
