Igbinobaro Saraphina Imiaefan (Saraphina) is a Nigerian born anointed gospel singer, who is not only passionate about music but embraces gospel music as her core ministry. With an unction for healing the sick;spirit,soul and body, her passion is to reach and restore lost souls through her ministry.
Saraphina officially began her music ministry at the tender age of 7, when she received an impartation from the late Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa. Since then, she has not relented in reaching out and making positive impact in the lives of people.
Her ministry course has brought her path across many great ministries, where she ministers, allowing herself to be a continuous channel of blessings to others.
She has served in several capacities including serving as Campus Fellowship Coordinator cum Music director at Christian fellowship international (CFI) of Church Of God Mission, Ambrose Alli University, Edo state. She was also Pastor-in- Charge of music in Resurrection Glory House Church, Abuja Nigeria and Music Director The Everliving church of God,Benin city,Edo state.
Saraphina is currently the Group Head, Creative Art , which includes the Music department in The Kings Heritage Church where She is also the Psalmist to the Senior Pastor, Rev. Lawrence Onochie; her mentor and life coach.
Saraphina is a public health consultant with a Masters degree in public health. She is United Kingdom HSE certified and has a degree in Microbiology. She runs an NGO (Saraphina Foundation) which creates awareness and teaches prevention, care and treatment of cancer, whilst also providing spiritual, psychological and emotional support for survivors (having supernaturally survived breast cancer herself). The foundation also advocates maternal and child education amongst other things.
Saraphina recently released an inspirational song titled “Eledumare You Are” after dropping a banger a couple of months before titled Ebubedike.
Ebubedike is an alternative to rock songs. Heavy on electric guitar, the rock-inspired track saw the graceful songstress and worshiper extolling God’s greatness and mightiness. It’s a beautiful song hailing Him (God) as KING. The song also has a lyric video on youtube.
As if that was not enough, She dropped the current trending song “Eledumare You Are” which came along with an official video. She has since then been to several interviews at different media houses including the National Television Authority NTA International.
We had an interview with Saraphina after she dropped her first single and in one of her sections of healing springs about her career and her online worship program. It was an interesting interview as the gospel artist and worship leader is a very loving and accommodating person. In the interview we talked about a couple of issues like her personal life, music, ministry and also her testimony after surviving cancer. We also talked about her out of the body experience. Here are some of the things we talked about.

Q; Tell us a bit about yourself.
I would love to describe myself as a woman on a mission sent to this generation with a message of healing, hope and restoration.

Q; Can you share a bit of your career life with us
Professionally I am a public health consultant, I worked with the developmental world for 9 years with Family Health International (FHI 360)as a community mobile officer / Community Mobilization officer until my switch to music
I have a background in Microbiology from Ambrose Alli university and a masters degree in ladoke Akintola university and I am UK certified Health safety and environment professional.
Q; Tell us about your live stream “Healing Strings”.
First of all, I want to thank the giver of the vision, God gave me Healing Strings when he told me he wants me to use my experience to reach other people. I was once diagnosed with cancer and I was going to start chemotherapy but God healed me miraculously, and from there he told me i will be a hope and a voice to so many people that are sick. Actually many people are sick. They put up this plastic smile, you don’t know what they are going through. That is how the healing strings came about, it’s all about healing people’s body, soul and spirit.
Q; When you came to our Studio after you dropped your Last song Ebube Dike you Spoke about your out of the body experience, can you tell us once again about that.
I Am a bundle of testimonies and miracles, as you look at me, am a walking miracle. I had an ectopic pregnancy after my first son, I was pregnant with the second one, you know the baby was born in a tube. The baby ruptured and that was it, I bled internally from the previous night to the next morning. Went to the clinic, came back, entered the surgery room, and spent 7 hours in the surgery room. That was where I had the out of the body experience. Then they had to cut off my tube and they told my husband I will not be able to give birth. I was struggling with my life. My Pastor, Pastor Lawrence Onochie, thank you, Daddy, God bless you, sir, He came around and told my husband lets to pray. And they started praying, as they were praying for me calling back life right there in the theater I saw my mum. She’s been late for over 15 years now, I saw her walk up to me and asked me what are you doing here. She said you have to go back to Phina, people have to hear you Phina, your voice has to be heard around the world. I asked if I could hug her but she said no you don’t have to hug me. Go back there and hug the sick people and give them hope and bring healing to their sick bodies. That was how I got up from out of the body experience. When I came back to life the whole hospital was on fire, everyone was running, people were screaming because they had confirmed me 30 minutes dead. They were covering me up to send me to the mortuary when I came back to life. When i got upstairs the prayers, everything was going on but I kept saying I need to get out there. That was where the word Saraphina to the World came about. I told myself, its a mission, God gave me a second chance and am not gonna let anything stop me.
Q; You just dropped an inspiring song “Eledumare You Are” along with a video, How has your experience been?
My Eledumare experience has been mind blowing, and cannot be captured in words. This song is so dear to me because it was birthed from the bed of affliction and it came at the right time when the world needs hope, healing and restoration and this is exactly what this song means.
It’s been from one level of glory to another, open doors here and there. In Fact, I can say that God exceeded my expectations and went ahead of me on this particular song and am grateful to Him alone.
Q: Are you planning on dropping an album soon Since everyone wants a piece of you?
Yes by the grace of God am working on the album which will be communicated in due time, meanwhile, I will drop 3 or 4 more singles before I drop the entire album
Q: How are you coping as an Artist with this Covid 19 setback?
Well, for me I don’t see setbacks. I only see opportunities and to be honest this lockdown has given me more time to bond more with myself and family and has opened a new phase in my life which I had little or no time for. In addition, I have built a deeper relationship with God which I believe is the ultimate and foundational thing in life.
Q: What’s your advice to Gospel Artistes who are striving to be heard
Keep pushing and making yourself relevant because excellence can not be ignored. Keep working on yourself and stay focused. Don’t go after the stage but stay with Him who makes the stage (God) and He will announce you to your world. Then you will experience little effort, massive results. The world is yours for the taking but keep.pushing and don’t get distracted for faithful is He that calleth you, for He will do it.
