Kenyan entrepreneur renounces LGBT lifestyle after dedicating life to Christ

 

Michelle Ntalami, a prominent young entrepreneur in Kenya and popular social media figure, has publicly announced her departure from the LGBTQ+ community following a profound encounter with Christ. Ntalami, co-founder and CEO of Marini Naturals, a haircare company, shared that she spent time seeking God in prayer regarding her lifestyle, which she described as a “prevalent stronghold in today’s world.”

In obedience to God, Ntalami decided to share her testimony with her followers. “I stand as a conqueror in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Since my life-changing encounter with Christ, I no longer identify as androsexual and am no longer part of the LGBTQ+ community,” she wrote on her Instagram, where she has over 560,000 followers.

She explained that God revealed the truth to her about her past choices, which she realized went against His divine plan for humanity. Though she did not provide specifics, Ntalami said she took a wrong turn during a vulnerable period of grief, loss, and pain in her life.

“I thought that lifestyle would bring healing and truth, but instead it left me more broken and confused. Deep down, I always knew it wasn’t meant for me. On that day, God confirmed this, healed me, and set me free,” Ntalami expressed. She emphasized that her message was not intended to condemn anyone, but to share hope, recognizing the struggles of the LGBTQ+ community. “Our feelings, preferences, experiences, and culture don’t define the truth. You are battling dark spiritual forces beyond your understanding. But the good news is, there’s hope for anyone who seeks true freedom—it begins with accepting Jesus into your life,” she added.

Ntalami first declared her surrender to Christ on her YouTube channel on May 23, 2024, recounting a powerful spiritual encounter in August 2023 that transformed her life. This experience led to a nine-month social media hiatus, during which she reflected on her relationship with God.

“At that time, I felt like I’d hit rock bottom. The emotional pain of everything I’d been through weighed heavily on me. I remember being in my room, thinking ‘this is the end’ and feeling like my best days were behind me. I was surrounded by darkness,” she recalled.

During that dark moment, she reflected deeply on life, death, and God in a way she hadn’t before. She cried out to God, who reminded her that His love for her remained, despite the choices she had made.

Today, Ntalami has rededicated her social media platforms to glorify God through her testimony, deleting her previous Instagram posts to begin a fresh chapter grounded in her identity in Christ.

“I vowed to use my platform to influence the world for Christ. Just as bold as I was in the secular world, I will be even bolder for Jesus. I, Michelle Ntalami, stand for God’s Word alone, and my identity is found only in Christ.”

She also expressed gratitude for the pastors, godly friends, and supporters who have guided her along her faith journey. Since publicly declaring her salvation, Ntalami has been invited to share her testimony at various church events, youth meetings, and conferences.

“With immense gratitude, I thank my Senior Pastors, my powerful spiritual prayer cover and counsel, my church, my Kingdom friends, my supportive fans and followers, the media, those praying for me, and the entire body of Christ for uplifting me,” Ntalami concluded.
