Massive turnout as David Abioye holds first service for new ministry

David Abioye, the former Vice President and recently retired pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has officially launched his new ministry, Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly.

The ministry was inaugurated during its first Sunday service held today, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd eager to be part of the fresh spiritual movement.

In a video from the service, Abioye explained the vision behind the ministry, emphasizing that it was born out of divine instruction. He described the mission as one focused on the spiritual growth, empowerment, and victory of believers around the world.

He firmly stated that the decision to establish this new church was not motivated by public opinion or personal ambition, but was in direct obedience to God’s call — a purpose, he said, that had been ordained from the foundation of the Word and is now unfolding in its appointed time.

“Let me be clear: this assembly wasn’t established due to pressure from people or a personal desire to lead a church, but rather by the unveiling of God’s eternal purpose. It was ordained from the foundation of the Word and is now being revealed according to His timing,” Abioye affirmed.

Clarifying his role, he added that he doesn’t see himself as someone taking on the entire Great Commission alone, but rather as a messenger appointed for a specific divine assignment within a broader kingdom agenda.

He concluded the service by officially declaring the ministry open and extending a heartfelt welcome to its members.

“With gratitude to God, I hereby declare this assembly, Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly, officially inaugurated today, Sunday, May 4, 2025.
In the name of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — for the spiritual growth, edification, and triumph of saints across the globe — let someone say a resounding Amen!

“Welcome to Conquerors Global Assembly. Everyone present here today will continue to conquer in every aspect of life. You shall be called more than conquerors,” Abioye declared.

Earlier reports from PUNCH Online noted that both Abioye and Thomas Aremu retired from their roles in Living Faith Church in October 2024. This followed a new administrative policy that introduced a mandatory retirement age. Abioye stepped down at the age of 63, concluding over 40 years of active ministry.
