Nigeria Will Not Heal Until The Church Repents” – Pastor Gbile Akanni

Pastor Gbile Akanni has called on the Church to repent and return to its spiritual foundations as a prerequisite for Nigeria’s restoration.

Speaking at a recent gathering, he stressed that the spiritual state of the Church has a direct impact on the destiny of the nation. While many often attribute Nigeria’s challenges to political leadership, he explained that the root cause lies in the Church’s failure to fulfill its divine mandate.

“The nation is sick because the Church is sick. Nigeria will not heal until the Church repents,” he declared, urging ministers and believers to embrace holiness, truth, and authentic discipleship.

He further cautioned against the dangers of materialism, compromise, and superficial Christianity, pointing out that the Church’s lack of spiritual depth has diminished its influence on society.

“We cannot expect national transformation when the Church itself needs transformation,” he noted.

His message deeply resonated with attendees, many of whom responded with prayers for personal renewal and collective repentance. The remarks have also sparked conversations online, with Christians reflecting on the Church’s role in shaping the moral and spiritual foundation of the nation.

Widely known for his emphasis on discipleship and revival, Pastor Gbile Akanni continues to advocate for a return to biblical roots as the only enduring solution for both the Church and Nigeria.
