Pastor Enoch Adeboye Weighs In On Christian Attacks In Nigeria & Urges President Bola Tinubu To Act Fast

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called on President Bola Tinubu to respond swiftly, wisely, and diplomatically to the growing global concern about alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria. Addressing his congregation, Adeboye urged the president to take proactive steps in managing both domestic security and international relations, especially following heightened attention from the United States over reported religious violence.

Adeboye, who referred to President Tinubu as his in-law, expressed concern after hearing the president’s recent remarks that appeared to present Nigeria’s security situation in a positive light. The cleric noted that the reality on the ground remains dire and that prompt action is needed to prevent external intervention.

He advised the federal government to engage in diplomacy with U.S. President Donald Trump, seeking a temporary delay in any potential American action while demonstrating commitment to resolving the crisis internally.

Adeboye proposed that President Tinubu should give Nigeria’s security chiefs a 90-day ultimatum to eliminate terrorist threats or step down from their positions. His appeal reflects growing anxiety among religious leaders and citizens about escalating violence targeting Christian communities across parts of the country.
