Pastor Ibiyeomie warns bloggers, threatens arrest over negative reports
Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries has issued a strong warning to bloggers, threatening arrest and detention for anyone who publishes negative reports about him.
In a widely circulated video, the pastor accused certain bloggers of intentionally misrepresenting his sermons and even claimed that some church members are working against him from within.
Making it clear that he would not tolerate being misquoted or misrepresented, Ibiyeomie declared his intention to take serious action against those who, in his words, “cross the line.”
He stated, “When I go after people, they start sending others to beg me. But let this be your final warning—there’ll be no second chances next time. If you try it, I’ll act.”
He continued, “There’s a young man I know—your father can’t plead with me, I know him too. Your mother won’t plead either. I will deal with you.”
Ibiyeomie acknowledged that public reactions to his actions are often divided, but emphasized his resolve: “Some people support me, others don’t. But I always have many on my side.”
He cautioned critics against judging his approach, saying, “When I take action, they ask why a man of God would curse or arrest people. But if you push me, I will. I’ll get you arrested and jailed. I don’t care. No pastor’s prayer will work for you.”
He further warned bloggers not to report on him or his church: “Don’t post anything about me. I don’t need your coverage. I’m already speaking to the world. Whether good or bad, don’t mention me. Stay away from this ministry’s news.”
He also alleged internal sabotage: “Some of you in this church are behind it. Instead of listening and being blessed, you twist my words and spread falsehood.”
He concluded with a sharp warning: “My gospel is: before you slap, I slap first. I’m not that kind of passive pastor. Young man, I’ll fight you.”
