RCCG pastor steals $8,000, begins new life in US – Mummy G.O

A startling revelation has surfaced from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), as Pastor Folu Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, revealed that a pastor from the church disappeared with \$8,000 intended for missions work. He reportedly abandoned his wife and remarried after relocating to the United States.

Pastor Folu shared this during her message at a men’s programme organized by the church, with a video of the session now circulating widely online.

She recounted that the pastor, originally from Ekiti State, had been assigned to a parish in Cape Town, South Africa. During one of her missionary trips there, she was scheduled to minister at the parish under his leadership. Shockingly, the service took place inside an eatery.

In the middle of her ministration, a woman walked in and began removing chairs, indicating that their allotted worship time was over. Moved by the situation, \$8,000 was raised to help the parish secure a permanent place of worship. However, the pastor later vanished with the funds.
