In a statement released by his family on Monday, it was confirmed that he died on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80. The family described his passing as a “glorious transition” from a life of dedicated service to eternal rest.

Widely revered as a spiritual general and a pioneer of faith, Dr. Ukpai devoted more than six decades to evangelism, the dynamic teaching of God’s Word, and the prophetic demonstration of divine power. His ministry touched millions of lives across Nigeria and beyond, shaping destinies and fostering spiritual growth for generations.

Throughout his lifetime, Rev. Ukpai became known for his fiery crusades, transformative messages, and unwavering commitment to raising and empowering both ministers and lay believers.

Beyond his spiritual calling, he was celebrated as a loving husband, devoted father, and mentor to many who saw him as a spiritual guide and father figure.
