Sarah Reeves Bags Film & Music Award Nominations For Her Feature Film

Christian singer-songwriter Sarah Reeves has earned two nominations at the 2025 International Christian Film & Music Festival (ICFF) for her work in the 2024 drama, God’s Here. Released on November 2, 2024, the film marked Reeves’ feature film debut and tells a heartfelt story of faith, forgiveness, and new beginnings. In addition to her acting role, Reeves composed the movie’s soundtrack. Her nominations include Best Supporting Actress and Best Musical Score.

God’s Here, inspired by a true story, centers on Jack Gilmore (played by Billy McAdams, Jr.), a devoted firefighter and man of faith whose life is shattered when his wife (Reeves) and son are tragically killed in a texting-and-driving accident just weeks before Christmas. Struggling with grief, Jack faces a DUI charge and is required to perform community service, where he encounters a young girl connected to his painful past. Meanwhile, Detective Kent Powers (played by Hercules star Kevin Sorbo) investigates the crash and uncovers a shocking truth that ties him personally to the case.

The film’s powerful narrative and Reeves’ dual contributions as both actress and composer have earned her well-deserved recognition, highlighting her versatility and talent in the world of faith-based storytelling.
