Tinubu hails Oyakhilome’s ‘rare gift of insight’ at 62

President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, President of LoveWorld Incorporated (Christ Embassy), on the occasion of his 62nd birthday, praising his global impact and humanitarian contributions.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President celebrated Pastor Oyakhilome’s “remarkable insight and spirit of charity,” noting that his consistent message of love mirrors the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Tinubu highlighted the transformative influence of Pastor Oyakhilome’s ministry, stating that his teachings and leadership have “redefined the landscape of Christian ministry in Nigeria and across the world.”

He further acknowledged the pastor’s longstanding commitment to welfare and relief efforts through various church-led initiatives, emphasizing that he has continually shown love by supporting vulnerable individuals and communities.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, who began Christ Embassy in Lagos in the late 1980s, has grown the ministry—now known internationally as LoveWorld—into a global network with numerous church branches, media outlets, and faith-based programs. He is also the author of Rhapsody of Realities, a widely distributed daily devotional translated into many languages.
