The Yali Tribe in Papa New Guinea, which used to murder teachers, practice black magic and participate in savagery, is currently following God and charitably tolerating 2,500 Bibles traveled to them.
In August, the Yali public got 2,500 Bibles conveyed via plane from Mission Aviation Fellowship. Some clan individuals strolled a whole day’s excursion to arrive at the towns where the Bibles were being passed out. Before the plane landed, ladies influenced and recited to commend the appearance of the Bibles.
“It seemed like we were on a sacred place. It was a heavenly second — one to be recalled,” said Dave Ringenberg, the MAF educator pilot and head of Papua activities, told MAF.
1,000 400 of the Bibles were youngsters’ Bibles, while most of them were normal Bibles. The Bibles originated from Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), a Christian association that flies Bibles to zones that can’t get them in different manners.
One of the Yali Tribe’s congregation requested the Bibles after there were insufficient to provide for the Yali Tribe’s town, MAF reports. The Yali clan was trusting that the plane will land and the ladies and kids were celebrating by reciting in their nearby tongue and moving.
This flight occurred 55 years after the clan was first found by Mission Aviation Fellowship in a flight review in 1965. The appearance of the Bibles was set apart by a festival complete with moving, tunes, and addresses. Numerous individuals may have thought this scene incomprehensible only 52 years back. The Bibles distributed to the clan were converted into southern Yali. Following 32 years, the interpretation was finished in 2000. World Team preacher, Stan Dale, and a Yali man named Luliap Pahabol cooperated to finish the Gospel of Mark, the principal book to be totally deciphered.
Dale was taking a shot at the book of Acts when he and associate Phil Masters were sadly executed in 1968.
Two of the clan’s fighters trapped the teachers as they were investigating a spot for another airstrip so as to impart the Gospel to an “especially unfriendly Yali clan,” MAF reports. The ancestral heroes assaulted the ministers since they were spreading a message that conflicted with the clan’s black magic and convictions. The two preachers took in excess of 200 bolts before they passed on. At that point, a second Mission Aviation Fellowship plane smashed and the pilot, Paul, staggered out and was found by one of the Yali clan individuals who were against killing evangelists. The clan part protected Paul until a hunting party showed up.
The clan considered this second visit a sign and tuned in to what the pursuit gathering and Paul needed to state, and gradually an ever increasing number of individuals from the Yali clan came to Christ.
There are currently in excess of 100 holy places among the Yali public.
