Pastor Harrison Ayintete Responds to Skales’ Testimony at Harvesters Church

Pastor Harrison Ayintete has reacted to a recent testimony shared by Nigerian rapper Skales during a service at Harvesters International Christian Centre, a moment that has since generated widespread discussion across Christian and social media platforms.

During the service, Skales spoke about God’s intervention in his life, opening up about personal struggles and the impact of his faith journey in recent times. His testimony drew applause and encouragement from the congregation, with video clips from the service later going viral online.

Reacting via his X handle, Pastor Ayintete expressed reservations about the testimony, saying it did not encourage spiritual growth or maturity.

“I honestly think they shouldn’t project your testimony on ‘Shake Body.’ It doesn’t enable spiritual growth, devotion, or maturity. Your testimony does not inspire godliness,” he wrote.

Ayintete further clarified that his comments were not intended as a personal attack on the singer, stressing that he holds no personal issues with Skales.
